Using our Payment Gateway to make payments

Collect My Debt Limited Provides an online payment gateway where payments can be made in a safe and secure environment. To use our Payments gateway to make a payment, you must be legally able to enter into a legally binding contract under the laws of England and Wales. You may not make a payment and may not accept the Terms and Conditions if you are under the age of 18 or are not authorised to enter into such a contract.

The payment and services that are offered by Collect My Debt Limited a company, registered at 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, W1W 7LT registered in England & Wales Company Reg. No. 10002804.  VAT Registration No. 235 0354 37. Also Trading as CMD Enforcement.

In making a payment through our Payment Gateway, you accept the Terms and Conditions, which form a legally binding contract.

All financial offers presented are statements of intention and do not commit Collect My Debt Limited to accepting them upon you accepting an offer.

All one-off payments will be considered to be accepted by Collect My Debt Limited upon receipt by you of the verification email from Collect My Debt Limited.

 Card surcharges will be applied against all personal & business debit / credit card transactions;
 For All Debit and Credit Cards the transaction fee will be 3%

Payments made for amounts which do not match the balance outstanding at the time of payment will be treated as part payments unless prior agreement has been made with Collect My Debt Limited to accept a reduced amount.

Refunds & Cancellations will only be issued in the event of a technical error with our systems, or in the event that the user has paid over the amount due. Refunds & Cancellations will be made within 14 days of us being notified of such errors.

Chargebacks will be challenged, and these terms and conditions will form the part of our defence.  If for any reason the payment is successfully reclaimed by your bank, and is not due to fraudulent use of your card or due to an error on our part.  Your account will be reinstated, and a fee of £50 will be applied.

What happens once payment is made? 
We will accordingly subtract the amount from your stated account. Your billing statement will specify a payment to ‘Collect My Debt LTD’ and or CMD Enforcement.

What if I need to update my account information?
You can contact us via Telephone on 0871 288 5160 to speak to a member of staff or E-mail at: info@collectmydebt.co.uk to request changes to your account.

How do I make a complaint?
If you wish to make a complaint You must write to Collect My Debt, 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, W1W 7LT quoting your Reference Number and the details of your complaint. We will aim to acknowledge receipt within 7 business days and respond to you within a further 7 business days. Complaints cannot be taken via telephone.

How safe is my information?
We may share information we have about you with our external service providers. Our agreements with these service providers require that they safeguard your information and only use it to carry out the services they are performing for you.

I think someone else has accessed my account?
If you think your account has been accessed without your authorisation, contact us immediately on 0871 288 5160. We also advise you to contact your financial organisation/Bank.

What information do you have about me?
Under the UK Data Protection Act, You have the right to ask us to see the personal information that we hold about you (this is known as a ‘subject access request’) by writing to us.

We may charge you a Subject Access Request Fee.  Information regarding subject access Requests can be found at www.ico.org.uk We will generally respond to a subject access request within 40 calendar days of receiving: (a) the Subject Access Request Fee; (b) information that We need in order to identify You; and (c) the information You need.
